Abstract:
This work is about the synergy between Actin binding proteins in order to produce high-ordered actin structures. In order to do that we combined TIRF microscopy with in silico experiments. We first studied the effect on actin dynamics of capping protein, ADF/cofilin and formin. Then, we investigated the synergy between ADF/cofilin and coronin for actin disassembly. This work is reported in an article of Molecular Cell. Last but not least, the formation of actin branched networks prior to actin-based motility has been studied.
