Published on 16 June 2023
The 5th Conference of the International Plant Proteomics Organization (INPPO), was held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from May 22 to 25, 2023.
The Conference focuses on basic and applied plant proteomics research. Covered topics include plant stress under climate crisis, developmental proteomics, signaling in plant interactions, systems biology studies, and technical/methodological advances in proteomic analysis.

In this context, Sara Pullara, whose PhD thesis focuses on Unraveling the role of the chloroplast surface in mRNA trapping and translation, competed in the category "best poster presentations of PhD/Master/BSc students" for the "Dominique Job’ Young Scientist Award". Her poster entitled Contribution to decipher the role of localized translation for chloroplast biogenesis earned her second place.
The purpose of the award is to honor and recognize Dr. Dominique Job's outstanding contribution to the International Plant Proteomics Organization (IPPO). In honor of Dr. Dominique Job, the best poster presentations by young scientists received an award of distinction.
