In collaboration with the Synchrotron Group of the Institute of Structural Biology, researchers of the laboratory in our institute have determined the three-dimensional structure of aspartate kinase in a model plant, Arabidopsis. This discovery is an important step in the study of a biosynthetic pathway with broad food applications.
