Activation of the threonine synthase of Arabidopsis thaliana by S Adenosylmethionine



Threonine synthase is a pyridoxal phosphate enzyme which catalyses the last step in the synthesis of threonine in plants and microorganisms. In plants, this enzyme is activated by the end product of the synthesis of methionine, S-adenosylmethionine (SAM).​​​
